 Let's
see what the bible has to say about it...
Jesus
said that He is the way, the truth and the life, nobody gets to
the father (in heaven) except through Him - That's the only way
(See John 14:6)
You
see our sins separate us from God, but Jesus paid the price,
suffered the worst, and gave his life so that we can have a
personal relationship with God.
What
is Sin? Sin is going
your own way, making your own choices, and doing your own thing
apart from God. We all Sin - every one of us - We were just
born that way.
The
Bible also says that it is by grace that we are saved though
faith, we didn't save ourselves - it is the gift of God, we didn't
do anything to earn this gift (See Ephesians 2:8,9)

It really is your choice, God gave us free will
to decide for ourselves - He will not force himself on us.

Admit you
are a sinner and that only Jesus can save you.

Repent -
Be willing to turn away from sin and submit to God.
(See Luke 13:5)
Believe
that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood to pay the
price for your sins, and that he rose from the dead.
(See Romans
10:9)
Ask God to
save you
(See Romans 10:13)
Ask Jesus to be
the Lord - Take control of your life.
(See Romans 12:1,2)

You're Ready
Then Pray This Prayer
(Or pray your own)
You
can do this anywhere, anytime...some do it alone at home, some
have someone pray with them, some do it in church in front of a
lot of people - but the key word is to do it. It's not hard,
it's not complicated. Don't worry what others will think or
say - It's between you and God, so be extreme and go for it...
Dear
God,
I want to ask Jesus to come into my life right now. I know I'm a sinner (Confess anything that comes to mind you want
to unload on God - he can take it!) and I believe that you sent
your only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross so that I can be
forgiven of my sins and brought back into relationship with
you. I also believe that He rose from the dead so that I
can spend eternity with you one day. I want to turn from
going my own way in life and allow you to lead me. Take
control of my life now and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank
you for saving me.
